At Wright Therapy Services, we believe the success of the child depends on the help of all invested family members. Parent training will be conducted monthly to assist with parent goals and consistency of the treatment plan. This time will also be used to discuss any positives and concerns.
Parents/Guardian meetings will occur bi-monthly to discuss data and progress monitoring. The goal of the meeting is to see the progress the child is making toward goals and discuss any changes needed to the treatment plan. Meetings can be requested by the BCBA and/or families at any time.
One goal of ABA is for skills to be mastered across people and settings. Once progress is being made consistently, the client will be introduced to different RBTs and settings in order to generalize skills. Maintenance of the skills show true mastery of the skill after an extended amount of time.
Once the client has met all goals and mastered all skills across people and settings, the next step is to gradually transition to discharge. The transition plan is individualized for each client and varies depending on needs. Once the client has been fully transitioned to being discharged, we will celebrate by having a graduation from ABA party to celebrate!
